How to Prepare Green Tea

In order to get the best results please follow these instructions carefully in preparing your green tea. The preparation of green tea is very different than in the preparation of black tea. There are two very important facts to remember when preparing your green tea, all green teas should be infused at 80 to 90 deg C, and never let over infuse or the tea will become bitter.

  1. Bring a kettle to a boil then let it sit for about 5 minutes to achieve the perfect temperature.
  2. Pour the water over the tea bag and let it infuse for 1 to 2 minutes (Depending on taste)
  3. Enjoy!

To prepare Iced Tea use double the amount of tea and add to cold water 2 to 3 hours in advance, then just before drinking add honey or brown sugar to taste.

The green tea can be used more than once (up to 3 times), and it is believed that the second use is even better than the first. The directions are the same but add 20 seconds to the infusion time after each use.
